The Viatom O2 Ring is a device that measures blood oxygen levels and pulse rate simultaneously for up to 24 hours. It is medically certified, and if it detects abnormal heart rates and/or low oxygen levels, it will immediately vibrate to warn you that the values have fallen into the critical range.
Its sophisticated sensor intervenes at night, even during sleep, if it detects a respiratory failure and detects the so-called. “intelligent vibration” to breathe, avoiding a state of oxygen starvation. (All without waking you up) As it is ring-shaped, it is not uncomfortable to wear.
It aggregates the data and provides feedback through statistics and charts, so you can see exactly how many times you have had a breathing stop, how many times the device has intervened, whether during the day during your run/walk or at night.
With the app, you can easily share your readings and forward them to close family members or your doctor, who can check your readings from any distance.
How to use: place the silicone ring on either fingertip of the left hand and press the Start button to start the measurement.
Many people have problems with sleep apnoea, which is breathing difficulties at night. It is often noticed by someone lying next to a person with sleep apnoea, as they may not breathe for several seconds. In this case, the O2 Ring immediately detects the drop in blood oxygen levels and uses an intelligent vibration to make you move and breathe without waking you up. This helps you sleep and wake up more rested.
The correct blood oxygen level is between 95 and 100%. The O2 Ring warns with a vibration when this value falls below 90%.
Difficult breathing is a common symptom of Covid-19 infection, so it is strongly recommended to use the device for the duration of the illness.
