Description
Nature’s Truth is one of the leading premium quality vitamin and dietary supplement brands in the United States. Some of its products are already available in pharmacies in Hungary through A-Lab Pharma, which also operates the Rapid TestLab. 95% of the Hungarian population is Vitamin D deficient, making Vitamin D one of the most important fat-soluble vitamins, which is also considered a hormone precursor and an active hormone of the steroid hormone family, which:
- regulates cell growth and differentiation
- affects hormone function
- plays a role in regulating blood pressure
- increases the absorption of calcium and phosphate and their incorporation into bones, thus helping to prevent osteoporosis and maintain healthy teeth
- supports the immune system
Maintaining vitamin D levels at all times is desirable for our health. Already 600-800 IU/ml, for example, helps to maintain normal bone structure, but daily recommendations often include 1500-2000 IU/ml, there is no agreed, exclusively recommended daily intake. Typically, a level of 1000 IU/ml is sufficient to prevent vitamin D deficiency, but higher levels, up to 2000 IU/ml or more, can be used to treat deficiency. Despite occasional recommendations, it is very rare that we need to take more than 2000 IU/ml of vitamin D per day. Especially during summer days, when we are in the sun for at least 20 minutes with almost our entire body surface, vitamin D supplementation is not necessary at all. For most days, and for more limited exposure, 1000 IU/ml is sufficient. Vitamin D absorption and action is aided by vitamin K2 and can be used in combination with vitamin D. With the right microbiome and nutrition, our “good bacteria” produce enough vitamin K2 in our body, so its intake may be unnecessary. However, osteoporosis, stiff blood vessels and deterioration in the quality of teeth are often signs that we are not getting enough vitamin K2. In such cases, this also needs to be replaced. Both vitamins are involved in the transport of calcium, vitamin D increases the absorption of calcium in the small intestine, which is transported through the blood vessels, and vitamin K has a role in transporting the increased calcium in the blood. If we don’t have enough vitamin K, calcium can build up on the blood vessel wall, which can cause the blood vessels to become inflexible. However, if you have enough vitamin K2 in your body, it is unnecessary to take it.
If you are taking a blood thinner, consult your doctor about which type to use, as coumarin and syncumar, for example, are vitamin K antagonists, i.e. they block each other’s action! That is why the
We recommend Nature’s Truth Vitamin D in its pure form and in optimal amounts,
as it is safe for ALL and also provides maximum flexibility. For those who also need vitamin K2 every day or on certain days, we recommend taking K2 separately.
A 130-pack of Nature’s Truth D-Vitamins can last up to 4-6 months, which is approximately. You can keep your investment in this essential vitamin between 1100-1600 Ft.
Calcitriol is the active form of vitamin D, which is normally produced in the kidneys. Also known as 1,25-dihydroxycholecalciferol. This hormone binds to and activates the vitamin D receptor in the nucleus, which boosts the expression of many genes and is a very beneficial agent for the whole body.
Vitamin D (calciferol) is a collective name for two types of vitamins: vitamin D2 and vitamin D3. The two vitamins have the same biological value, but vitamin D3 is the form of vitamin D3 that is best used by the body. Vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol) is the most naturally occurring vitamin, which is formed from an animal-derived pre-vitamin by exposure to sunlight. It is also from this pre-vitamin that vitamin D3 is produced in the body when we are exposed to sunlight.
Vitamin D plays an important role in the functioning of our body.
Vitamin D:
- It contributes to the normal functioning of the immune system.
- It contributes to maintaining healthy bones.
- It plays a role in cell division.
- It contributes to the maintenance of healthy muscle function.
- Contributes to the normal absorption/utilisation of calcium and phosphorus.
- It helps to maintain normal blood calcium levels.
- It helps to maintain normal teeth.
Vitamin D deficiency is suspected when vitamin D metabolism is disturbed for some reason. There may be causes of vitamin D deficiency:
- If you get too little sun. Occurs mainly in older people
- Deficient nutrition
- Decreased vitamin D intake (e.g. celiac disease).
- Increased demand (pregnancy, lactation, childhood).
- Taking certain medicines
- For increased kidney function
- Nephrotic syndrome
- Kidney function disorders
- Hypothyroidism
- Hyperthyroidism
- Angola
- due to cadmium poisoning
