The orange grove improves blood circulation, so the skin regenerates faster, and soothes your baby with its texture and pleasant fragrance, so bathing will always be a positive experience.
Cocamidopropyl betaine: amphoteric surfactant, derived from the fatty acids found in coconut oil , its role is to gently cleanse the hair and reduce electrostatic build-up. Betaines have good cleansing properties, are mildly germicidal, well tolerated by the skin and mucous membranes, form a stable foam, are viscosity-enhancing and biodegradable. Used as a base and additional surfactant for shampoos and shower gels. As they are well tolerated by the mucous membranes, they are also suitable for baby shampoos and bath products.
Coconut glucoside: the compound formed by the reaction of coconut oil and fructose is a sugar surfactant. Its role is gentle, non-irritating cleaning, strong foaming, removes impurities, making it ideal for baby products. It improves combability and elasticity of the hair, but it does not have a strong degreasing effect and does not dry out sensitive baby skin. Suitable for cleansing inflamed skin, it is skin-friendly and biodegradable.
Glyceryl Oleate: a natural lipid, softens, nourishes and protects the skin against physical and chemical impurities. Glyceryl oleate has regreasing properties, turning them into soft, gentle and moisturising products. Glyceryl oleate is a lipid that helps to build the viscosity of the cleansing gel while imparting it with regreasing properties. It increases the stability of the emulsion and, as a non-ionic surfactant, helps to improve the cleaning and foaming properties. Glyceryl oleate has a huge advantage in baby care products, with its fine and soft texture helping to keep babies’ skin moisturised.
Glycerol: a natural glycerol derived from vegetable, mostly rapeseed or coconut oil, a fat constituent found in all living cells, used in medical ointments as well as cosmetic products. A clear, very viscous, odourless liquid that can be mixed with water and other alcohols. Glycerol is also a constituent of the skin, and is found in its protective acid mantle, called the hydrolipidic mantle. Glycerin binds moisture in the skin and in the product, and its skin-friendly properties and high effectiveness as a moisturiser make it an ingredient in almost all skincare products. It has a superior cleansing effect, making it an ideal ingredient in bath products, as it cleanses and protects against drying out at the same time.
From aloe vera a plant of the asparagus family, which prefers hot climates. The jelly-like interior of the leaves contains more than 220 active ingredients that have made the plant the basis of many ancient medicines, including Egyptian, Roman, Greek, Chinese and Indian medicine. Recognised for its unparalleled properties, it has been known by many names: the heavenly rod, the miracle plant, the plant of life, the preserved medicine. There are currently around 300 known species of aloe, five of which have medicinal properties.
Aloe vera’s outstanding effect is due to the synergy of its active ingredients, which is how it can have such a wide range of medicinal properties. Aloe vera relieves pain, reduces inflammation, helps and accelerates wound healing, regenerates skin and mucous membranes. Aloe vera is rich in vitamins A, B, C and E, minerals such as iron, potassium, calcium, copper, zinc, etc. In addition, it contains all 20 essential amino acids and a number of flavonoids, helping to maintain healthy, soft baby skin while soothing the skin.
A benzoesav occurs naturally in benzoic acid, but is also found in other plants such as blueberries, honey and dairy products. Salt, sodium benzoate, which is easily soluble in water. Used as a preservative in cosmetics and food. It inhibits mould growth and has antimicrobial activity. It can be used safely in natural cosmetics.
A dehydro-acetic acid organic compound. It has strong antifungal and antibacterial properties and is used as a preservative in many body and skin care products. It is not considered dangerous for human health or the environment. Clinical studies have shown that the concentration of dehydroacetic acid typically used (less than 0.6%) is non-irritating and safe for use in cosmetics. It helps stop microbes from multiplying on our products once they are exposed to air, keeping them stable.
Ammonium lauryl sulphate is a widely used surfactant in shampoos, bath products, hair dyes, face paints, deodorants, perfumes and shaving products, but is also found in other products. Ammonium lauryl sulphate is a surfactant that helps mix oil and water. As such, they cleanse the skin and hair by helping water mix with oil and impurities to rinse them off or suspend ingredients that are difficult to dissolve in water. It is used instead of sodium lauryl sulphate (SLS) in premium cosmetics because it is a more complex molecule, physically larger and heavier, so it has a lower molecular weight and, unlike SLS, it penetrates the outer layers of the skin and the sensitive cell layers under the skin. Therefore, its allergenicity is a fraction of that of SLS, while its cleansing effect remains outstanding.
