Extract of myrtle leaves. The myrtle is a member of the myrtle family and is mainly native to the Mediterranean region and Pakistan. In shampoos, it is used for its scalp invigorating effect, to prevent dandruff. Regular use will leave hair shiny and easy to comb. In skin care, it is nourishing, astringent, antiseptic, anti-inflammatory and neutralises unpleasant odours. It can be used in skin care products for acne and problem skin, but is also commonly used for facial care.
Sodium cocoampoacetate is a surfactant, defoamer and conditioner derived from coconut oil, used as a cleansing ingredient in many cosmetics and personal care products. It can also increase the foaming capacity and stabilise foams. Used in shampoo, it improves the appearance of hair by adding body, elasticity or shine. Sodium cocoampoacetate is often used in products for sensitive skin, children and infants as it has mild and non-irritating properties. It is non-irritating to the eyes, making it an ideal ingredient in baby shampoos.
Cocamidopropyl betaine: amphoteric surfactant, derived from the fatty acids found in coconut oil , its role is to gently cleanse the hair and reduce electrostatic build-up. Betaines have good cleansing properties, are mildly germicidal, well tolerated by the skin and mucous membranes, form a stable foam, are viscosity-enhancing and biodegradable. Used as a base and additional surfactant for shampoos and shower gels. As they are well tolerated by the mucous membranes, they are also suitable for baby shampoos and bath products.
Glycerol: natural glycerol, derived from vegetable sources, mostly rapeseed or coconut oil, is a fatty component found in all living cells and is used in medical ointments as well as cosmetic products. A clear, very viscous, odourless liquid that can be mixed with water and other alcohols. Glycerol is also a constituent of the skin, and is found in its protective acid mantle, called the hydrolipidic mantle. Glycerol binds moisture in the skin and in the product, and its skin-friendly properties and high effectiveness as a moisturiser make it an ingredient in almost all skin care products
Coconut glucoside: the compound formed by the reaction of coconut oil and fructose is a sugar surfactant. Its role is gentle, non-irritating cleaning, strong foaming, removes impurities, making it ideal for baby products. It improves combability and elasticity of the hair, but it does not have a strong degreasing effect and does not dry out sensitive baby skin. Suitable for cleansing inflamed skin, it is skin-friendly and biodegradable.
Lauryl glucoside: a tenside similar to coconut glucoside, same role as coconut glucoside. It has a low foaming capacity, so it is used in combination with other surfactants for proper lathering and perfect cleaning.
Phenethyl alcohol: is found in extracts of rose, carnation, hyacinth, Aleppo pine, orange blossom, ilang-ylang, geranium, neroli and champaca. Produced by the fungus Candida albicans, it is a natural preservative and perfume.
Tejasav: Lactic acid is a naturally occurring organic acid. It is produced as an intermediate in the metabolism of living cells. Its preservative properties have been used by mankind for centuries in lactic fermentation. Excellent hydration, strengthens the scalp of babies, increases the water content of the epidermis. With use, hair becomes softer and thicker.
Sodium cocoyl glutamate: coconut oil is a reaction product of fatty acids and L-glutamic acid, a surfactant that cleanses the hair. It is of natural origin, produced from coconut oil. Surfactants are so-called detergents and play a role in cleaning skin and hair in cosmetics. They clean, foam, act as emulsifiers and mix materials together.
A sodium lauryl glucose carboxylate is a sugar-based surfactant used as an emulsifier and stabiliser in shampoos, lotions and body care products. It is produced from natural raw materials, using natural processes and is completely safe, with no harmful effects. EcoCert has approved it for use in certified organic cosmetics. Used as a natural alternative to sls.
Potassium sorbate: the potassium salt of sorbic acid. Sorbic acid occurs naturally in the fruit of the bird’s-foot trefoil. It inhibits the growth of yeasts, moulds and some bacteria, so it is used as a preservative in the food and cosmetics industry. It does not have a germicidal effect, so it only prolongs the shelf life of hygienically unobjectionable products. Potassium sorbate is considered harmless and is therefore a perfect and natural substitute for parabens.
Sodium benzoate: sodium salt of benzoic acid, a substance found in many fruits and foods, such as blueberries and many other fruits, as well as honey, yoghurt, sour milk and cheese contains benzoic acid. Sodium benzoate is a preservative that works by inhibiting bacterial growth. Used in combination with other preservatives, such as potassium sorbate, it increases their effectiveness, so that fewer active ingredients are needed to achieve the same result.
The aloe vera a hot climate plant of the asparagus family, with lance-shaped leaves resembling possums and growing up to 50 cm long. The jelly-like interior of the leaves contains more than 220 active ingredients that have made the plant the basis of many ancient medicines, including Egyptian, Roman, Greek, Chinese and Indian medicine. Recognised for its unparalleled properties, it has been known by many names: the heavenly rod, the miracle plant, the plant of life, the preserved medicine. There are currently around 300 known species of aloe, five of which have medicinal properties.
Aloe vera’s outstanding effect is due to the synergy of its active ingredients, which is how it can have such a wide range of medicinal properties. Aloe vera relieves pain, reduces inflammation, helps and accelerates wound healing, regenerates skin and mucous membranes. Aloe vera is rich in vitamins A, B, C and E, minerals such as iron, potassium, calcium, copper, zinc, etc. In addition, it contains all 20 essential amino acids and a number of flavonoids, helping to maintain healthy, soft skin and hair while soothing the skin and reducing inflammation.
A orange juicej improves blood circulation so the skin regenerates faster, and its texture and pleasant scent soothes your baby, so that washing her hair will always be a positive experience.
Ethylhexylglycerol: glyceryl ether, has emollient and mild moisturising properties and can also improve the effectiveness of other preservatives in paraben-free products. It also improves the absorption of creams, reducing the oily feeling of the skin after lotion application, leaving it velvety and natural.
Glyceryl Oleate: natural fatty substance, which has a hair care effect. It is able to renew the hair fibres by penetrating the hair layers, leaving the hair easy to comb, soft and smooth to the touch. It also has a skin conditioning effect, protecting the sensitive scalp. In addition to its positive effects, it is also used as an emulsifier in organic formulations, because it allows the formation of a homogeneous mixture of oil and water (emulsion).
